Turkey & Mince Fricassee (For the dags)...


I've been a bit remiss in my publications generally of late, but particularly when it comes to recipes for the auld mutts. Here's one they seem to enjoy, probably on account of the fact that it's food... but anyhoo...

Necessary Items:

A couple of carrots

A zucchine. Or a courgette...

A couple of centimeters of ginger

about 100g of big lentils

A turkey wing

Some mince

How to do it:

Boil the turkey wing and reserve the boily juice using a "Reserved" sign.

Boil the lentils in water until almost soft but not quite.

Mince up the veggies and ginger in a mincing device.

Drain the lentils and add the veggies.

Chop up the meaty bits from the turkey wing and add that and the mince to the veggies.

Remove the "Reserved" sign and add the juice to the mix.

Boil up again for about 5 human minutes.

Allow to cool and then portion and freeze.

Unfreeze as required and add to the mutts evening meal. They will be ever so grateful...
