Rev. Peanut's Zucchine Flower Omulette

For those of you wondering "what's an omulette"? - it is a tasty, fried, egg dish that can be worn around the neck to protect you from evil. Or you can munch it. I munch mine in a sammich, 'cos I'm a heathen...

Necessary Items:

3 beaten eggs per person. Select the naughtiest eggs you can find so you won't feel too guilty beating them.

A reasonable number of zucchine (courgette) flowers.

An element of salt and pepper.

About a tablespoon of grated parmesan.

A tablespoon of lovely olive oil.

How to do it:

Squeeze three eggs out of a nearby chicken.

Crack 'em into a bowl and beat 'em up.

Add the salt & pepper & parmesan and beat 'em again for a bit, until they have thoroughly learned their lesson.

Pop out into the garden for a minute and chopp the flowers off your zucchine plant. Again, about three per person.

Evict any insect type squatters by means of cold, running water.

Chop the flowers in half or in quarters.

Heat the oil in a fry-me pan.

Give the eggs another quick whip to show them who's boss.

Chuck 'em into the pan.

Place the flowers on the eggs in a pretty pattern.

Cook for a couple of minutes and then flip it over and cook for another couple of minutes.

Slide it onto a plate and arrange some red chillies around it so you can include it in your chilli recipes.

Munch. Or make it into a sammich and then munch. Both are good. Very good indeed.
