The September Slowdown...

No actual adoptions in the past week but some good interest and a couple of dogs returned to their owners, so I s'pose that's good news! The incoming has also slowed down a bit with only 2 or 3 arriving since the last update. Cinderella here is worth about €4k and her pups about €1.5k each. She's an American Pocket Bully. It's believed that after her first litter it was discovered that she was no longer fertile, so the natural thing to do is dump her on the street. Jaysus, sure isn't early retirement great! Anyhoo, now she's with us receiving therapy for a paw infection and we're pretty sure she'll find a loving home with sausages and fluffy pillows and more sausages pretty soon. But for feck's sake, if you really must get your dog from a breeder for Jaysus' sake do a bit of research and ensure that it's a reputable, ethical breeder and give us a bit of a hand to put a stop to puppy farming. Better still - adopt... I wonder what fabulousness next week has in store? Hopefully a bottle of goodness and three packets of great. I'll let yiz know...
